What a better excuse to go to Adelaide than a 30th birthday Roald Dahl party?
On the way there we had the chance to see things as fascinating (or maybe not...) as a huge Koala statue, the Imperial Egg Galery and a beautiful and surprising pink lake, which made the 8 hour drive much more interesting than in seemed. When we got to Adelaide we had great indian dinner waiting for us!

Kerrin and I borrowed Raja's car and drove up the Adelaide hills to a Wildlife Park.
ROALD DAHL PARTY!
Candy, Chocolate Fountain, Golden Tickets, Giant Peaches... The party was held at an art gallery with an auction of the birthday boy's childhood artwork included!
Willy Wonka (the birthday boy) |
Roald Dahl |
The Whiting boys in Whiting road |
Pelicans near Kingston where we stopped for the first night |
The blue lake in Mount Gambier |
Port Fairy |
We spent the second night of the way back in Terang, were Kerrin was born and his grandparents and some Uncles and Aunts live.
